In four recent years, the Indian financial market saw a tremendous shift from lack of access to banking services for the majority of Indians to the rise of digital banking apps that made it accessible for anyone with a smartphone at hand.
One of the flourishing startups aimed to expand financial opportunities for Indians that emerged during this period is OmniCard. What is OmniCard? Its main purpose is to provide an easy to use digital card for younger generations, such as Gen Z’s and the Millenials as well as adult users.
The best feature of the app is that it doesn’t require you to have or open a bank account: it’s enough to register in the app and order a card to pay by UPI, online, via a bank transfer and more. Though, it’s necessary to submit a mobile number when registering an Omni account. But, how can you avoid it? Let’s explore the effortless measures that today’s Internet offers.
What is OmniCard? Features & Benefits of the App
What is OmniCard? It’s India’s first payment app with a prepaid card that supports UPI payments and other multiple benefits to customers, including omnichannel payments. The card is issued to satisfy the needs of both individuals and corporate clients. Moreover, parents can create an OmniCard for their kid while tracking their spendings and setting spending limits. The card is available both as a digital and physical card: after ordering a digital card in the app, you can receive a physical one for free.
As for the omnichannel payment options, the app supports the following ones:
- Instant UPI payments. It’s available for both individuals and organizations. Moreover, one can create UPI ID in one click only. Also, no B/A needed.
- Bank Transfers. Provides a reliable method for transferring funds between accounts.
- Cash Withdrawals. OmniCard users can access cash conveniently at partnered ATMs.
- Online Payments. Supports secure transactions across a wide variety of e-commerce platforms.
- Transit, or Metro Transit. Ideal for metro and public transport payments, ensuring hassle-free commuting.
- OmniCard gift cards. OmniCard account holders can present gift cards with certain amount on the balance
- Wearables, or the OmniCard KeyChain. The OmniCard KeyChain supports contactless payments, requiring a PIN only for amounts over INR 5000.
All these payments are secure and don’t require you to have an opened bank account. This is probably one of the most important features when it comes to citizens in rural India who have limited access to physical banking offices.
After you complete the OmniCard login, you can pay using all convenient options, such as swipe, scan, tap and pay online by confirming each purchase with a security code. Moreover, the card enables customers to earn cashback 1200 crore, earn rewards on every spending and receive special offers from partners of a wide partnership network.
Omni Account Withdrawal and Replenishment Options
To replenish your card, you can use the app which enables instant replenishment or deposit money to your physical OmniCard at any ***. As for the withdrawal options, customers can withdraw cash in any ATM throughout India.
To transfer money from your Omnicard Wallet to the Transit Balance, please ask for an operator at the Metro Counter at subway stations to help you do that.

Virtual Phone Number for OmniCard Registration
Virtual phone numbers for receiving SMS work on the basis of remote software that is available for users through the cloud. In terms of getting security codes when passing verification in various online platforms and apps, temporary virtual numbers are as effective as conventional mobile numbers. Though, codes are sent right to the SMS verification platform or desktop client (which is the remote software mentioned before).
Such numbers don’t require utilizing a specific device such as a smartphone with installed SIM card. All you need is a stable Internet connection: that’s why public Wi-Fi may not be the best option.
Due to the advantages of this technology, virtual number are really helpful in a number of cases, including:
- Registering multiple accounts in online services and apps, both global and local ones.
- Getting access to services that don’t operate or shut down in your country — SMS-Man provides numbers for 190+ countries so you could register anywhere.
- Setting up a second account on a platform that is already familiar with your primary phone number (most services demand for unique phone numbers for each account).
- Gaining better privacy and higher anonymity of your data within the account.
To complete the OmniCard login with a virtual number from SMS-Man, follow the steps below:
- Sign up on sms-man.com with an email address — or join via Facebook, Telegram or X account.
- Add money via “Top up my balance” section to the account balance.
- At the ‘Receive SMS’ tab, choose the required country and find the service (OmniCard). Then tap ‘Purchase.’
- Copy the number for OmniCard from ‘History’ and submit it to the app.
- Request a security code in the SMS-Man profile (‘Get SMS’ at the right) and apply it to the app.
For multiple registrations, repeat the sequence as many times as you need. Or rent a number for a longer period.
